Sometimes, the world can feel overwhelming — full of uncertainty, confusion, and challenges that seem bigger than us. But in moments like that, we’re reminded that the brightest lights often come from within.

That was today’s message shared with the youth at the local primary school career fair — a powerful reminder not just for students, but for all of us:

“Be the light you’re looking for.”
You might not always have control over your circumstances, but you do have control over your attitude, your kindness, your effort, and your belief in better. Whether it’s offering support to someone in need, being a positive role model in your family, or showing up in your community — your light matters.

Especially for our young people, it’s important to know:

You don’t have to wait for someone else to inspire you — you can inspire yourself.

You don’t have to wait until you’re older or more experienced — you can start being a leader now.

And you don’t have to be perfect — you just have to be present and willing.

The world needs more people who show up with purpose and love — and if you’re reading this, that light is already inside you.

Keep believing. Keep sharing your light. And most importantly, keep becoming the person you once needed.
